Things I Want To Do This Year

A bucket list for the year minus the pressure to complete it because isn’t living the point of life?

This year, I don’t want a rigid bucket list or a set of goals that turn into another measuring stick. I want a list that is fun and carefree but also flexible and not stressful or demanding. My reality is that some days will be slower and harder than others. These aren’t things I have to do, but things I want to do, because they make life feel lighter and some super simple thing can bring joy.

Say yes to plans without immediately thinking about recovery time.

Spend more time outside.

Go to more concerts.

Travel more.

Reconnect with old friends.

Dress for how I feel, not how I think I should look.

Laugh more!

Go to museums and see other forms of art, entertainment, or music.

Have more coffee dates.

Check in on friends regularly.

Go on a trip for my 35th birthday.

Be and feel strong again.

Savor every moment!

and so much more.

I really want to challenge myself (and maybe you too) to say yes a little more often, try the things we’ve been putting off or have been scared to try and make room for fun without overthinking it. If you want to not feel guilty for choosing you, saying no, and resting when you need to, those are also huge steps. No pressure, no perfection, just living! It feels exciting to say it out loud, but I really believe this is going to be a good year!

Thanks for reading.
